We are specialists in the entertainment industry and have flexible wedding packages to ensure you have the perfect day. We have self-catering as well as in-house catering including buffets and sit-down meals.
The Grade II Listed Winding Wheel Theatre is one of the largest wedding venues in Chesterfield. With three rooms to choose from, including a beautiful ballroom, it is the perfect venue for getting married as well as holding your reception. You can hold your celebration across one or all of the rooms.
The Winding Wheel Theatre is centrally located in Chesterfield and is a short walk to the Registry Office which is based in the Town Hall.

The Winding Wheel Theatre
The Grade II listed Winding Wheel Theatre is located in Chesterfield Town Centre, close to the famous landmark – the Crooked Spire. There are excellent transport links, making the venue easily accessible to your wedding guests.
Rooms to choose from are the Auditorium, Ballroom and Function Room, which can be booked together or separately. The capacity of each room is as follows:
– Auditorium 220 for a banquet, 350 for a party with a dance floor
– Ballroom 135 for a banquet, 200 for a party with a dance floor
– Function Room 50 for a banquet, 100 for a party with a dance floor
Both the Auditorium and Ballroom are available for wedding ceremonies as well as your Reception.
– Main Hall 130 for banquet, 200 for a party with a dance floor
– Smaller room suitable for bar area, family room, waiting area or buffet area.
