The Assembly Rooms is based within Chesterfield’s Grade II listed Market Hall. The venue has a Main Hall and two spacious meeting rooms. The venue is located in Central Chesterfield with excellent access to public transport, car parks and the main high street

The Assembly Rooms caters for a wide range of events including meetings, exhibitions, fairs, parties and wedding receptions.

Main Hall
The capacity for the Main Hall is 100 for a banquet and 140 for a party with a dance floor. Available for use are 135 chairs, 38 tables which measure 5ft and 25 tables which are 2ft. Additional tables and chairs can be arranged if required.

The Main Hall measures is 21.2m long x 8.9m wide.

Meeting Room 1
The capacity for meeting room 1 is 45. The meeting room is an informal space with a clear view across Chesterfield’s historic market place. The meeting room has a projector and screen, and it is equipped with tables and chairs which we can arrange to your chosen layout.

Meeting Room 1 measures 6.5m x 6.5m.

Meeting Room 2
The capacity for meeting room 2 is 20. The meeting room has a break out area overlooking the retail area. The meeting room and break out area are split by a sliding wall.This means the areas can be combined to make a larger meeting room if extra capacity is required. The meeting room has a 50″ LCD TV for presentations, and is equipped with tables and chairs which we can arrange to your chosen layout.

Meeting Room 2 measures 5.4m long x 3m wide.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge and oven with hobs.

Prefect for a meeting break, the Market Hall is full of stalls selling freshly baked goods and snacks, it also have a cafe.

Access
The Market Hall is accessible from street level, from the main entrance, there is a lift which serves the Assembly Rooms which is on the first floor.
